Cody and his wedgie.
And of course my favorite girls.
Cody had the best night ever last night. His family threw him a surprise Talladega Nights 16th birthday party. He said he didn't have a clue.
I knew it was going to be a great party the day before when Rylee and I gave him his gift, that had finally came in the mail. A couple of t-shirts that had his favorite quotes on them... He jumped up and yelled, "I love you Gerri!"
Kerri had all the foods from the movie for the kids. The party was in the garage. She decorated in a race car theme and hung up signs all over the walls with quotes from the movie.
But the best and most memorable part of the night had to be when Hank said a prayer before it was time to eat. Now if you have seen the movie you know how Ricky Bobby prays to the infant baby Jesus or Jesus as his friends to the south call him! Where he thanks his smokin' hot wife. The stone cold fox! (Woo, woo!) It was priceless. Cody was laughing the whole time, along with all his friends. I operated the video and had the camera bouncing the whole time trying not to bust out laughing. You will have to call Hank and have him play his version for you it was a wonderful interpretation!!!!
Cody one day will realize how lucky he is to have such wonderful and loving parents.
