Earlier this week my brother, Hank, called to see if Rylee wanted to play with his All-Star team in a one day tournament in Tooele. She agreed and when it was time to go to practice she started whining about not wanting to go. (I think she only wanted to go volunteer at the "Fill the Bus" drive with Erin and I) I was able to leave work early (Thanks everyone at work!) to go and watch. It was so worth, the missed hours. The girls all play super hard. They lost the first game and then battled the rest of the games to make it into the Championship game against the home team, the Tooele Dynamite. It came down to the last at bat for the Dynamite with one out, two girls on base and the winning run up to bat. My niece Ashlee made a double play to end the game. The awards ceremony was precious. BIG, HUGE trophies. The smiles on our girls faces said it all. Not to mention the tears from the Dynamites. That broke my heart.
